Happy June! Here is the latest news and information about upcoming events concerning the Union Hill Middle School. Please take a moment to review our June 2026 calendar.

The Union Hill Middle School proudly hosted our students and parents for our Bilingual Paint Night event, sponsored by the Union City Board of Education and Union City Education Association! The evening was filled with great music, creativity, delicious food, and the best company. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event such a success!

It was an excellent experience for everyone at Union Hill's Visual and Performing Arts Spring Concert! The night was filled with incredible performances by our Band, Choir, Dance Company, Drumline and Visual Arts Students!

The Union Hill Middle School congratulates our April and May Student of the Months, Liz-Marie B.! Liz-Marie is an exceptional eighth grade student who continues to impress both inside and outside of the classroom. She excels academically, demonstrates outstanding presentation and leadership skills, and serves as a positive role model for her peers.

Please be advised as per Union City Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners in collaboration with the Cedar Stars Academy and the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, the Union City Board of Education would like to invite everyone to the 2026 Union City Soccer Festival on Saturday June 13, 2026 from 11:00AM-7:00PM. Union Hill students participated in a "Battle of the Homerooms NJSLA" competition where homerooms competed in academic and athletic competitions to win a field trip for their class. Students that passed the state assessment last year were entered into a raffle and awarded prizes that ranged from gift cards to gaming system and a bicycle. The event was a huge success!

The Union Hill Middle School rewarded 250 students that passed the district's second assessment in Math and Language Arts by providing them with a free Ice Cream Truck Social Event! Congratulations to these incredible young men and women.
