Congratulations to the 2018-2019 Union City High School Boys Basketball Team on winning the Hudson County (HCIAL) Championship and Group 4 North 1 State Sectional Championship. The team worked hard under the direction of Head Coach Drew Morano, Assistant Coaches Juan Mendez, Fabian Giraldo, Waleed Miqbel, and Ralph Santiago.
These boys made Union City history as accomplishing and unprecedented feat.

Group 4 North 1 State Sectional Championship

Defeated Fair Lawn (score: 62-57
Defeated Hackensack (score: 58-54)
The team completed the season with a 23 - 7 record.
