Ms. Dobelle's 8th grade science students at UHMS are learning about ecology. To help reinforce how animals interact with their environments, she showed them a live Madagascar hissing cockroach via Zoom! They discussed how perfectly adapted the insect is to its habitat. Even though they aren’t the cutest animals, they serve an important role in their ecosystem!
