PRISM is a support group for families living on the Autism Spectrum. This seven-week program gave parents an opportunity to attend informational workshops provided by district specialists, while their children engaged in stress-reducing activities in the gymnasium. Peer Leaders from SGA worked along with Special Education Teachers to create a supportive, inclusive environment that was attuned to the sensory needs of all students. We look forward to expanding this program next year to other schools throughout the district.
